Upcoming Event(s)

  1. It will be another exciting moment when we will listen to bro. Chan Kok Leong to share with us another series of life learning skills in our next Monthly Fellowship. It will be be held on 9 September at 7pm in our church building. Dinner will be served!
  2. The next Youth Development Programme will be organised in Kuala Kangsar on December 18-21. All youth members are encouraged to join this camp which costs RM140 per person. However, the church has decided to subsidise 50% of the participation fee for chuch members, with visitors on case-by-case basis.

Meeting Matters

  1. The church will purchase a 2HP air-cond to replace the current one in the children's room, while the old one will replace the one in the youth room. This purchase that will cost RM1600 is to be coordinated by bro. Albert Koay.
  2. 10 New King James Version (NKJV) hard-cover bibles have been purchased for church use. RM150 has been spent on this project.
  3. To support the evangelism work, the church has allocated RM1200 per year as Evangelism Fund. Substantiate with receipts or report, this fund can subsidise any evangelism done by any church members. Bro. Alan Koay has drafted the Evangelism Claim form to be filled up for the claim.
  4. Gotong Royong has been scheduled on October 24 (Tuesday) at 9am to clean and tidy up the church building. We are also to buy a vacuum cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of the building.
  5. The church would like to remind the brethren to reach the church every Sunday at 9.15am, but not 9.30am.
  6. As requested by bro. Richard Lee from Subang Jaya, the church has agreed to host the Evangelism Seminar on May 1, 2007. More pgrogress to come regarding on this One-Day-One-Night event.
  7. As loving brothers and sisters in Christ, we have decided to advance a total of RM4000 to sis. Swee Chan to fulfill her needs and solve her difficulties financially. This sum of money will be repaid back after the sale of her house in 2007.

Prayer Request(s)

  1. Bro. Ting Kong Eyo thanks the church for the prayer on his injury two weeks back. Please do pray for him continually for full recovery.
  2. Exam tension: bro. Jeffery (PMR), bro. Thomas and sis. Joann (SPM), bro. Timothy, sis. Sophia and sis. Sylvia (STPM).
  3. Travelling mercy: Tony and CKL (to Johore this week), bro. Boon Eng (back to Malaysia on 9 September), Ronnie Lee (back to Klang after worship).
  4. Please continue to remember sis. Beh in your prayer, who is suffering from lung cancer and currently with additional back pain. May God's healing hands be upon her.
  5. Please pray for Ai Luan's husband's conviction to God and stirring of his heart towards God, that God will open his heart to accept the teaching of Christ.
